I think this comic, though it depicts a poc, is really illustrating the "white moderate" viewpoint. They are anti-racist in theory, but they're all too willing to negotiate with racists at the expense of the actually marginalized. They're then baffled when the racists keep gaining power.
That people from marginalized groups are not on the Democrat team in this game, but that we are the ball has haunted me every day since i saw that video. It's so true and so fucking terrifying.
