    See how they have to read about the shitty fascist candidates rather than being actually exposed to them and their policies in real life? Or how even after reading about them, they worry about how they’re gonna vote rather than how they’ll make sure to survive and stay safe?

    This is the main demographic these comics are aimed at. Liberals. They are not the main target of these fascists. They’re opposition to them is just “moral” whereas Bernie and socialism actually threatens these petty-bourgeois pockets. They’ll always oppose that more.

      A great video talking about the different factions at play in racism/white supremacy in white America. I think this comic, though it depicts a poc, is really illustrating the "white moderate" viewpoint. They are anti-racist in theory, but they're all too willing to negotiate with racists at the expense of the actually marginalized. They're then baffled when the racists keep gaining power.

        That people from marginalized groups are not on the Democrat team in this game, but that we are the ball has haunted me every day since i saw that video. It's so true and so fucking terrifying.
