      This is my plan if I ever get picked. I don't care what the crime is or how bulletproof the evidence seems, the American court system is not justice.

        And even if it was somehow justice (it's not), the US prison system is monstrous, practices torture, and is against basic fundamental human rights.

      Yep and if the jury gets hung and everyone gets mad at you for voting not guilty and dragging it out, you keep up vague plausible reasons why you think there’s reasonable doubt

      I was in a similar but less showy situation, and I like to think it broke the spell a little bit with jurors otherwise feeling like they had to declare their fealty.

          Of course, but I was trying not to lie while still reminding people who might end up on the jury that the cops might be full of shit and it was okay to take that into consideration.
