    i know but it feels like it's really culminating. like even the mask under the mask is coming off. No longer is it "America is the good guy who won WW2 against the nazis" and other similar revisionism. It's "We should have supported Hitler all along."

      That wasn't a strictly uncommon position in the immediate aftermath of WW2, just one that wasn't openly said. Although Patton in fact did.
