      I'd imagine they'd have to tape down the two hemispheres around it and then launch it to leave a supercritical ball of plutonium angrily sitting out in a field. It'd probably kill the loader and whoever got close to it. Theoretically a extremely expensive, ineffective and most likely unreliable piece of area denial.

                Yeah, the Davy Crockett was for blowing up small formations of tanks and creating an irradiated area to discourage troops from moving through. They had all kinds of weird shit like nuclear land mines and backpack nukes that were supposed to be more like conventional weapons on a grand scale than the giant city-buster weapons.
