A bunch of years back I saw an article about a woman in NYC who specialized in suits for women. She was talking about how so many masc women wanted to wear suits, but men's suits never really fit right, so she jumped on the niche to give people suits that fit properly and looked sharp. I always thought that was really cool.
Girls wearing masculine stuff became so normalized that tomboys became part of the default.
