I read this this morning and just thought it was the most condescending schoolteacher-telling-off kids thing I have read in along time. Like, c'mon - a boozehound like him being hammered is a fucking great line - it practically wrote itself. This whole fucking civility thing isn't aimed at chuds in an attempt to shame them, that line has well and truly been stepped over and is 50km back down the road, fading fast. Nah, it's the whole high/low horseshit again and again.
