Because they have the maturity of children, they associate liberal values with shushy teachers and mom telling them not to point at unusual looking people. Back in the 90s-00s, there was a dichotomy of how batshit the "satanic panic" :meemaw: type were and how annoying the sjw :maybe-later-kiddo: type were, whereas gamers just wanted :grillman: , we're currently at the next stage of that I guess.
