I didn't watch the episode because their 9/11 episodes led me not to trust them on conspiracy stuff. It looks like I made the right call. Did they really buy the Warren Commission? Lol. Lmao.
People that were involved in MKULTRA and the biological and chemical weapons definitely told on them though. The lid was blown off those conspiracies partly because hey guess what, they were a little too expansive and out in the open, involving too many people to keep secret for very long.
Also much of MKULTRA involved controlled experiments in laboratory settings and universities, which means they worked within a confidential environment that was already conducive to secrecy. Whereas the moon landing hoax would have been blown open by the Soviet Union if it were true, and 9/11... Well, lol
The only reason we know about most of COINTELPRO like Fred Hampton’s death being an FBI assassination is because people not involved at all broke into some office somewhere and stole the documents proving it. You can’t count on “if it’s a conspiracy people involved will tattle”.
How does that mean anything? those are conspiracies all the same. Or do you somehow think that one conspiracy being true means all are true or one is false so all is false?
MKUltra took years to be revealed and we still only know slivers, very tiny slivers. You are not even missing the forest for the trees, just being intentionally obtuse. For all those involved in MKUltra, we still know so little, and what the fuck does that have to do with the moon landing? Or are against the idea that conspiracy theories can be true or false or anywhere in between? You are saying "well that conspiracy being true doesn't count because it counts, but this one you didn't mention is fake so conspiracies are fake" what is this transient property working backwards shit? What are you actually saying? Beyond inanities and a woeful misunderstanding of MKULTRA.
People also told on 9/11, those reports are in the records, people who caught on but had their warnings ignored. Why do you think people doubted the official story? Including high profile politicians are the time. You are talking out of your ass with these essentialist statements. The moon landing and 9/11 are not the same event, and I would really hope you could discern the two.
You would have laughed off MKULTRA before it was more openly admitted to, plain and simple. But because it is impossible to ignore you consider it as no longer being a conspiracy theory even though definitionally it was. Pure willful ignorance, though the exact kind that makes the state department's job so fucking easy. Just admit finally to something and people will say "well ok that thing that was crazy happened, but surely nothing else happens" it is just moving the goalposts and gaslighting yourself into thinking they are the same.
But yeah bring up the moon landing some more and pretend like MKULTRA being true means it wasnt a conspiracy theory,. edit: and I feel I snapped a bit too much, but that comment just feels so dismissive and working backwards. Like admitting that conspiracy theories can be true, but that when they are that means they never counted as conspiracies. It is a silly notion and a mindset that leaves you incapable of picking up on things like MKULTRA until the government itself admits to it. Which is fucking dangerous.
