    The Allied invasion of Normandy was a conspiracy involving hundreds of thousands that was effectively kept secret until it was mobilized. Train people to follow orders and keep things on a need-to-know basis.

      Keeping a military operation under wraps for a matter of months is not comparably to a conspiracy that is meant to be kept secret indefinitely.

        But is it really an indefinite secret if people have been calling it out since literally the day it happened? We're discussing it right now after all. It's just a PR battle IMO, a propaganda game.

        When normal crimes get called out, they get investigated and charged by authorities. When state crimes against democracy get called out, there are no authorities interested in starting earnest investigations because the authorities are the conspirators.
