tfw the bisexual lizard Nazi implied to be fucking the twinky doctor helps you engineer a political assassination and blame it on the enemy to force a third party to commit to a horrifyingly destructive war :isaac-pog:
Andy Serkis yelling, climb, fight, kill was like - oh fuck, this is actually a good show.
my one real worry for the show after the last episode
andor ep11 spoilers
is that theyre gonna reveal hes some kind of jedi, rather than just a cunning guy who relies on his wits and preparation. that wooden thing the guy pulled out when he was getting searched at saws hideout that looked awfully like it could be a lightsabre, and those darth maul lasers coming out of the side of his ship, and kinda the way theyre building him up in general like they could be going for a fall to the dark side sort of thing. not convinced of this theory, and i hope im wrong cos it would be the absolute worst thing they could do to his character and the show, its so much more interesting when its the struggle of normal but talented and dedicated people rather than just super space wizards with laser swords again. and i worry cos i can imagine the suits would be very nervous about greenlighting a star wars show without any jedi at all
edit: the stick could be something else or a lightsabre hes collected for his imperialism gift shop but he doesnt know how to use properly (especially possible since he didnt bust it out when they were in a very tight spot on ferrix), and the side lasers could just be one of the systems he stole off the empire, and while i think his speech in the picture means hes going to have to die for "going too far" (possibly somewhat-heroically like saw in rogue one) as per the rules of western liberal cinema it doesnt necessarily mean theres any dark side shit. so theres definitely counterarguments, and the people making it definitely seem committed to making it a regular-people show, so im hopeful they wont go there
