I've recently gotten back into Longboarding (like, skateboarding), and surfing. Both are relatively cheap hobbies once you get the necessary equipment, and I've been having a blast. Feel like a kid again tbh, I feel like I haven't "played" outside for years outside of some hiking and stuff
I greatly enjoy fishing, I picked up fly tying during the pandemic and it can be alot of fun experimenting with different materials and seeing how fish react to them. I also used to enjoy bike riding till I moved to a state with hostile infrastructure.

I haven't fished the Bay I know there are plenty of shore fishing opportunities for striped bass when they migrate. I primarily fished smaller rivers for smallmouth. I have tried carp fishing a few times but they are surprising difficult to catch.
