“We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack,” the statement said. Details of how the shooting ended have yet to be released by police, but Castro said “this was not an officer-involved shooting.”

Yeah one reason my partner and I are trying to get better mentally is to be able to own guns without being dangers to ourselves. Shits scary out there and we frequently fantasize about starting a queer version of the black panthers
Calling them weak minded or scared like they generally do when the topic of CCW comes up doesn't work particularly well when the people they are trying to shame are regularly victims of mass shootings and regular violence. I mean it's still ridiculous when chuds who only go chud places full of white cis chuds still feel the need to never leave home without a carry weapon, but it's because of those people that the rest of us should also be armed.
Comrade, I'm a lesbian and armed to the teeth. If we don't protect ourselves, who will?
Same, I just want to leave the fucking US. But no, they want me to pay 4,000 dollars to renounce my American citizenship. I'm probably bi and I'm not a nazi, this country should be happy to see me go, why place a barrier?
You see the GDR was horrible for not letting people out, the US is benevolent in making you pay a fee for leaving its tax obligations.
It’s not banning, it’s merely price-gated
If you live abroad American citizenship is one of your best assets. It makes things easy for you, you can enter so many countries without any advance notice. Just show up and boom, 90 days free entry. Even if you want to stay and work, there is so much fraud from other countries that a blue passport is your guarantee that they'll take you seriously when you apply.

Hmm the more you know
It's basically true, I've been working out of the country for a few years (hoping to get permanent residency and never return to the US) and while my work currently helps me with expat taxes, my US taxes owed are very low every year.
Oh hell yeah, I now know what I'm doing.
China's looking pretty good right now
