    Russia solved this issue by having pretty good public transportation, allowing you to safely travel places while very, very drunk.

    I was an idiot with this POV once, or at least reckless disregard not related to libertarianism and have a DWI to show for it..

    I no longer drink nor drive. 5yrs without booze but take other stuff

        Absolutely. I will say the couple times I was briefly caught up in something, it gave me great insight on how fucked the DOC is.

      That's actually not the case in a few states believe it or not. You can be in the act of drinking while driving as long as you blow under the limit in like Mississippi or Wisconsin, and like 5 states let other people drink in the car as long as the driver is under the limit

        i think about that scene in mad men when draper gets a dui and the limit he's over was like ... actually pretty solidly high, like twice what it is now in my state or something? idk its been ages
