    And I can’t help but see a little bit of karma in that the generation that consistently fucked things up for its own benefit has finally had chickens come home to roost, mostly from its own choices.

        I mean, some "took it seriously from day one because it was deadly to boomers", but seemed genuinely happy about it. Rejoicing as the numbers started to go up, and almost advocating for spreading it. I get that it's supposed to be a joke. I still think it's a very shitty one. The whole community is advocating for M4A, and when a global pandemic appears, the first reaction is this?!

        While you were still joking about it, many countries were starting to be overwhelmed, and it was pretty obvious that the US people were gonna get completely fucked. Even more obvious to me after I saw that even a leftist group could care so little.
