This is such a no brainer. The obsession with hair isn't Islamic, it's entirely cultural. The Qu'ran says dress modestly, not keep your hair covered.

Definitely the best outcome if it gets repealed or softened. I'm worried about color revolution there and privatization of the few things that Iran has in public ownership. Loosening the laws is likely the best outcome we can hope for right now.
