i've basically stopped watching movies/tv shows. they're just endless shit and i cant be arsed to wade through the sewers to find the rare shiny turd.
I still don't understand this format, and I find it slightly infuriating. Why do a video reading an image ? why not post the greentext image itself ?
Sometimes the vocal delivery can improve on the joke, but in this particular example the video doesn't really add anything, I just couldn't be bothered to try finding the original image
could be worse, could be a reaction video with some bearded ignoramus reading the greentext image out and saying "oh wow"
Yeah, I hate this format too. Jeaney Collects is the worst culprit, they've made an entire YouTube career out of reading posts (which I mean, good for them), but I just find it so pointless and entirely unfunny. The worst is when they read classic posts and ruin them with the same voice and comedic timing as every other post.
I was joking to a friend the other day that eventually, there's going to be some meta service where you can pay like $50~100 bucks a month and get several streaming services for a reduced price and people are going to lap that shit up. MOTHER FUCKER YOU JUST REINVENTED CABLE :matt-jokerfied:
