    Yeah, it'll last for a number of years at least. I don't think the guy I knew went through this particular company, not sure now. It's been at least 4 years now and he still doesn't need lactase.

    There's an open source version to that you can grow: https://github.com/thethoughtemporium/Whose-gene-is-it-anyway/tree/master/lactasev2 (looks like this one's gotten an update and is no longer AAV-based, version 1 was less effective based on the guy who tried its' experience. This one on github is also more up-to-date than the one the guy in the videos tried, but the new one hasn't been tested in humans that I can tell).

      They just need to take out the lactase gene and put in the growing fur gene and they'll make a killing with the furries
