In the darkness of the 21st century mankind's grim fate is in the hands of failchild manchildren billionaires hellbent on working us to death. One hero stands alone, Monke Armed With A Machine Gun :monke-rage:

Imagine I used my vast sums of money to hire retired spooks to break into your homes at night. Imagine that while you were sleeping, these shadowy figures injected you with approximately half a gram of medical grade ketamine. Imagine they used the time you were under chemical anesthesia to implant a tiny bomb inside of your skull. Imagine I hold the detonator.

Anyway, let's get out there and make some cars!

When i think of people working on things that will be stuck in my brain, I definitely want them to be overworked and rushed.

Hell world where if you don't get the neuralink you're at an effectively 0:100 disadvantage in terms of your capacity for intellectual work but getting the implant means you can be scolded by being given brain damage/death/used to mine bitcoin instead of relaxing.

there is no way Musk will figure out how to make people smarter. the guy failing to run a social media forum is not going to oversee a massive break in neurosurgery

Under capitalism all technology is quickly co-opted by advertising, so you'd be at an advantage ten years later bc everyone around you periodically gets stuck mentally watching imprinted-memory ads from time to time and it functionally gives them severe ADHD

And if the ads stop happening the economy collapses

because these won't be freely available and required by society, you won't be at any kind of disadvantage against normal people. no one will be able to afford this except billionaire failsons.

That's weird he'd say that because I'd probably work less well.

His management style is literally when Homer asked "can you work any faster than this?" And the engineers started typing faster.
