Oh, I got that. My ire is with the many times I've received "vote with your wallet" and "if you don't like it don't buy it, simple" dismissive responses to increasingly greedy and cynical monetization practices getting normalized.
When you spend hours every day playing a game, you may fixate on cosmetics and perks in the same way some dork who spends hours every day in their cars spend money on decals and fancy truck nuts and shit.
Now I'm thinking of like, custom hand crafted truck nuts made out of titanium or some shit.
