I don't think power outages really get them anything. Especially when everyone thinks it's reactionary groups doing it because of shit like drag shows...
Someone else pointed out that these kinds of situations are pretty unifying, and yeah they definitely are moreso than anything else in suburbanites' lives - because you take a large number of people and reduce them to the same conditions without electricity. Electricity is the most basic thing allowing specialization and all of the structures in society. Sure, it's tense when the power does go out, but you're actually bringing together people who'd usually never interact because they have no reason to when they can just stay in the electrified places that they normally would.
Paper tigers and all that. Nobody injured, no property damage, no outages, just a guy with a gun taking potshots at a power station. Doesn't seem like a coordinated attack.
The problem with neoliberalism and the USA in general is we keep thinking we just need to debate these fascists in the marketplace of ideas to win instead of just shooting them.

The US energy grid is also made of paper though...
Motherfuckers can just cut off all power nationwide, but all they have to do is claim that they're nazis and everyone gleefully looks the other way.
I fucking hate living in :amerikkka:, even the :ukkk: seems legions better. At least Scotland might be more tolerable.
