Sometimes cats get so dirty or become so bad at taking care of themselves that a bath (or very light sponge bath/no-water grooming, preferably) is needed. And they should be dried off ASAP.
But the vast majority of the time people are giving cats baths when they shouldn't be.
yeah after the last one of these got posted I've been thinking more and more that these aren't cute, they're awful. the cat is absolutely miserable in this video.
