I mean yes and no. Technically in temple, but I know plenty of people with a Jewish dad who spent more time in jewish religious celebration. I’d call them jewish, more so than Christian for sure
It's not "yes and no". If your mother is Jewish then you're Jewish. It's matrilineal. This is thousands of years old.
I tried telling the Nazis I’m not technically Jewish because my dad was Jewish but my mom wasn’t, but here I am in auschwitz anyway. Dang it.
