I'm actually having a hard time deciding between several solid contenders (and their totally-not-their-alts alts) but I'll go with one that I had very little actual interaction with: the "cranking the hog in front of coworkers whether they want to see that or not is liberating and if you're against it you're a reactionary scold" Whedonbrain we had that one time. :volcel-judge:

Paleo diets were a non-starter. Once I went to a cafe and the "Paleo Bowl" had sausage in it. Paleo seems to have no real rules.

Paleo seems to have no real rules.

I mean the plants that would have given us the majority of our caloric intake during the paleolithic period are either extinct or completely unrecognizable so the diet has always been more of a vibe.

All about that panda lifestyle: spend ten hours a day foraging for food sources that are barely nutritious

On a somewhat related note, plenty of "return to caveman" dudebros think le steak for every meal is complete nutrition and is everything their primordial sigma male ancestors ate. :so-true:

I completely embrace the "caveman diet". Cavemen wandered around all day looking for anything that looked tasty and ate it, which means it's 100% paleo to eat a chocolate cake in the middle of walmart with your bare hands

Someone made a post about how it's reactionary to be mad at women for enjoying pumpkin spice, which, yeah, dislike of pumpkin spice flavoring is deeply rooted in the misogynistic toxic masculinity view that anything popularly enjoyed by women is Bad, Actually.

So anyways this inoffensive post picked up 150+ comments from some dude absolutely flying off the hook against pumpkin spice and wammens, his many many acts as he got chain banned, and everyone else dunking on him as he became increasingly unhinged

And people rage at me for criticizing their treats. I got nothing on that steaming hot take regarding pumpkin spice or pumpkin spice enjoyers.
