This clown has been running around the Deprogram sub shrieking about how Cuba is a bloody dictatorship and more or less doing the "communism is when capitalism" meme and trying to body people with walls of drivel

Yeah, small and medium size business owners definitely don't warp the market with their huge excess and access to capital,

Let's look at what's allowed by capitalism:

      Enslavement via the prison system

      Child labor

      Wage theft

      Union-busting

"Donations" that are definitely not bribes to get favorable legislation passed

      Civil asset forfeiture

      ...

is it worth trying to push back or does that just legitimize their argument?

Probably not, but it gave me brain damage. And because we all know that gommulism=sharing, it is only fair I share the brain damage.

You know, sometimes I just wish we nuked the dunk tank. If I wanted bad takes on ideology and the world, I could go literally anywhere on the internet with a comment section.

Knowing that people agree with us and that we're not crazy is good for our mental health

But you'd have nowhere to talk to sane, non-shitlib people about it.

For liberals, it's more offensive for a public servant in a socialist country to make 7x the salary of the average person than for a billionaire to make 10,000x the salary of an average person in a capitalist country.

No matter how much democratic legitimacy a socialist leader has, no matter how beloved they are, they are in open rebellion against the free market. The endless polisci dreck about Cuba's authoritarianism is nothing but religious apologia aimed to spark a crusade against a people who refuse to worship the God of the market.
