A wise Hexbear once said to me "ideally the number of social media platforms you use should be going down."

Simple advice but I think that's a good way to think about it - every time I think about joining or interacting with a new format that quote comes up again in my head. Give up Twitter and replace it with interacting with human beings, or reading books, or appreciating art, or exercising, or baking bread, or gardening, or building revolution.
