    That is certainly creepy as fuck but I can see how it would happen given typical workflow in that generation especially.

    Find a reference, find an image that matches the reference, map it to the model. Even if they made a completely unique charred corpse face they would likely have to subject themselves to even more such images to draw one from scratch and they would still have to look at a bunch of gruesome reference pics anyway.

        Yeah but back then they didn't so that's just how you would do it (briefly went to school for 3d modeling then they cut the course out of the curriculum for budgetary reasons at the community college I went to)
