yeah this works until it doesn't at which point you suddenly have many problems and very little time to do anything about them
oh for sure but thinking ahead is a luxury sometimes, this is the kind of thing i'd expect someone to do when they're broke
a standard flat bar can be had for like 8€ new
and yeah, maybe someone doesn't have that or macgyvered it on the side of the road but even then, just walk. I don't see a scenario where risking riding a literal random stick, brakeless, is worth the danger
