That's green wood, it has some flexibility before it breaks at least. I still wouldn't do it, unless I was riding my bike home on a bike trail from getting my handlebars stolen.
Yeah but it's also clamped to the bark which is already delaminating so unless you want to have surprise fun slippery slidey handlebars I'd argue walking is still your best bet, even if it sucks
