When I was 15 I looked to up to Tyler the Creator and Odd Future. Edgy but they weren’t bad. So weird to think teens look up to manosphere influencers and not musicians or athletes.

That still exists, just look at Cristiano Ronaldo/Mbappe/Haaland/Messi fanboys on social media, musician/band stan twitter, or the playboycarti subreddit.
It's only really terminally online weirdos that idolise YouTubers or social media influencers over people who have actually accomplished something
When I was 15 I just played tons of RuneScape, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch roleplay and ripped Linkin Park songs from Youtube by recording my computer with Unregistered HyperCam 2.
Chud boys seem to gravitate toward 15 :stupidpol: or 50 :grillman: when I see them out there, with those as the focal points with variation in age between them. I don't know why.

Good, I doubt Tate and the like were the only people getting idolized but it’s such a contrast to my teenage years.
