OK, so from what I've worked out, his "hustlers uni" is almost certainly a money laundering operation as much as it is a pyramid scheme. He also runs casinos for the Romanian mafia, and makes 600k a month from enslaved women working as 'cam girls'. I doubt the actual income from his programme is significant in any way compared to the other income streams, if at all: it's almost certainly a money laundering scheme and he's the fall guy.

i only know crime from TV/internet and it seems like a weird move to have an infamously flashy international celebrity be running the laundering operation. or maybe it's brilliant? i've always subscribed to the maxim of not having a big profile when doing crimes.

though it could be as you say, where some organized crime element approached him to put him in the "arrest this guy" jacket so they could run wild for a year or whatever. he seems dumb enough to have signed his name to all kinds of shit legal instruments for "big" bucks without ever learning any partner's name or even seeing anyone but a low level bagman in person. basically, guaranteeing the investigators and prosecutors throw the book at him in frustration because he has nothing to trade in cooperating.

I'll cast a lot of aspersions at him, but he seems like the kinda dude who'd take the fall because it's part of the bro code.

This seems pretty sensible - like if he really set up a camgirl operation in Romania, it's probably taken over by organized crime on day 2.
