First up for this Sunday Slop Night is what is critically regarded as the greatest Indian film of all time, from India's most revered filmmaker, Satyajit Ray: Pather Panchali (1955)! Enjoy this saga of crushing poverty in rural India, made under only slightly less destitute circumstances than those depicted in the film. It is currently rated #97 of all time on Letterboxd's Top 250. After that, we'll be watching Jonathan Lynn's classic comedy Clue (1985), based on the board game and starring Tim Curry. It famously has multiple endings, which were distributed at random during its initial theatrical run. Sounds neat. Let's watch it.
We'll start at 9PM EST on Hextube, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies

Note: I'm currently trying to get a rip of the vastly higher-quality Criterion remaster of Pather Panchali. I think I will also be able to get a better-quality Clue rip up in time, but it'll come in hot.
