      It's the antennas. This is essentially a directional radio jammer - it disrupts communication between the operator and the drone, as well as jamming GPS / Glonass / etc.

      It would be ineffective against a purely independent drone (one that isn't controlled by radio); especially one that'd rely on inertial or visual cues for navigation instead of GPS.
