    From this source , that would make the current year 2965.

    I personally think we should just use the Assyrian calendar, where we're in the year 6771. That covers pretty much all of recorded history.

      A bar chart is kind of a funny way to represent those numbers. Like wow, the Assyrian calendar has so many years, while the French Revolutionary calendar is really lagging behind with rookie numbers, they gotta find a way to get more years fast if they wanna make up the difference.
