I would like to model some crappy 3d environments to use as plates for green screen footage. I haven’t used any animation software since Maya in like 2005… is there anything cheap or free that is half decent? Bonus for being easy or similar to old school maya.
I've been trying to teach myself blender. It's free and does everything. I've been trying to use it for 3d printing.
It's arcane as all hell, but it does everything in the world and more.
