That's actually really funny how Bolsonaro, biggest America worshipper that would let the us nuke his own country, shot himself in the foot by being such a diehard for Trump and thus losing any potential US support he may have gotten.

Bolsonaro had that Trump factor of really getting the libs to hate him.

Also, I don't think Biden and the EU care about a socdem being in power so long as they don't nationalize resources or industries, and otherwise allow for unfettered exploitation by the global north. Lula hasn't done anything against that so far. If he does, watch him get the Evo treatment.

Because Bolsonaro was a true believer in Trump and his own lies. He refused to speak to Biden, he only spoke to him once and he openly asked Biden to help him rig the election, he did it like in a room full of journalists. Biden literally told him to shut up.

So he decided to ask Putin the same thing. He went on to publicly attack Zelensky and called Ukrainians idiots for voting for a "clown" as president. Lula knows Biden personally, even Bush had respect for Lula. Dude was known for helping Venezuela and Iran negotiate treaties with the US.

As for the EU, Lula is a friend of Macron, Sanchez and Olaf Scholtz. Bolsonaro ranted about how his wife was beautiful and Macron's was ugly and other mean words, noting that Bolsonaro's wife is known to be a drug dealer and cheats on him with a lot of men. Bolsonaro refused to accept any money the Europeans gave him because, in his words, they were socialists.

The parallel to Jan 6 was a huge boost for lib good will to him - even the neolibs who surely hate him had to play along. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a turnabout in 6 months, or sooner.

i think the amazon situation is a real tool of diplomatic force and also real for PR, like bolsonaro was destroying the amazon and lula won the election and is stoping the bleeding, lula also is a proven administrator, who had reduced the number during his first tenure and had good relations with everybody while bolsonaro once cancelled a meeting with macron and then posted a photo of him getting his hair cut during the time that the meeting would happen in a diplomatic event for some reason, he is a weirdo and lula is a really good brand you want that political shine like barrack did the same and bush also did
