I hope it's also underpowered enough for my laptop to run a Cease and Desist-ed emulator of it.
Hoping it has some extremely easy to exploit security vulnerability
For real. But I'd bet good money they'll put a lot of work into hardening the boot loader security this time around.
People desperately awaiting confirmation of something that is literally guaranteed to happen? I am kind of looking forward to it disappointing everybody =)
Honestly if it’s backwards compatible and is basically the Switch with some improvements, it’ll be fine.
The rumor of magnetic Joy Cons sounds cool.
I’d love if it brought back dual screen, like a reversed Wii U where the handheld streams to the dock, but I highly doubt it.
That'll be the safe approach--new Tegra SoC, bigger battery, 1080p screen and more ram as a treat--and it will suck :^)
There's a darkly comedic part of me that won't count out the possibility of something dumb like swapping to an x86 CPU and breaking backward compat for some reason, but it's unlikely lol
Dual screen is never ever going to happen, they proved how much the DS design does not work on a TV and frankly it seems like most people hate twoscreen gaming. I can maybe see wireless video streaming to TVs...
I would love to see them go back to the Wii U’s roots just to see the chaos it would create.
Where do they find they time between all their lawsuits to make another switch?
Have they considered I've only had one for 3 years and I'm still perfectly happy with it?
Their fiscal years ends in March, so it could be Q1 or even right at the end of the fiscal year like the Switch. The Switch was announced October 2016 and released March 2017.
Why not? The OLED screen looks gorgeous. Unfortunately I can’t really justify getting the OLED model since I already have a working Switch.
We will make an announcement to the successor of the Nintendo Switch
