    i'm not going to be watching this year (or at least, not live or legally) but i really do wonder how much the BBC/EBU/etc will have to cover for. like, there is a 0% chance that NONE of the young, progressive, deeply online participants will say/do something on the night, plus the crowd, plus the occasional stage invader. one performer has already been bitched at for daring to wear a keffiyeh despite the fact that he is part fucking palestinian. genuine insanity.

    like, all the EBU had to do was say that israel's song wasn't good enough to qualify this year and they could have avoided all this. instead, i've now had lib friends asking me what BDS is because they heard about it in eurovision discussions che-smile

      Will made a good point in the latest chapo ep. The frothing support for Isn'treal by the west is the wet dream of every anti-semite. If you do not know the ins and outs of Imperialism, you really are lead to believe that Israel, and by western definition jews, control the west.
