So what they will do is sunset the blue check entirely to remove absolutely everyone from it, then they'll bring in a new system and start from scratch while refusing to give it to anyone that is remotely left wing.
The premium is a separate thing to verification. A verification system is still a necessity for the site to run properly so it's got to be something other than just that.
