This recent rock struggle session made me laugh because I just imagined like 60-70% of that entire comment section just be feds trying to piss each other off

I'm guessing 5-10%

Also, do you think the mod team is compromised, if yes, who?

I haven't been here long enough to guess who but I'd bet the mod team is compromised

Well fellow kid, I'm not sure what to tell you. The makeup of this forum was pretty inevitable after the banning of r/chapotraphouse, and if anything, the forum is even more radical, boring, and academic that it used to be. Not that it was ever going rival r/cth at the height of the Sanders movement, where we terrorized the reddit frontpage with blisteringly politically incoherent memes about progressivism and socialism (but they worked because people shared them), and made people afraid to post there. Funny times.

That being said, this is probably one of the only places in the internet where you will simultaneously get a comprehensive and sympathetic history of Stalin AND then in the same breath that same person will tell you it's not worth fighting about irl. It's a decent compromise and far less clearly fed-jacketed than a place like r/communism where you get banned for minor sectarian issues or even just asking questions about minor sectarian issues. At most around here, you have to deal with the under-developed clique of the c/news mega people v.s. other people in the forum who aren't rabid war-watchers.

Could it perhaps be more 'active and radical', maybe, but that defeats the point of hexbear which is to be a leftist (communist, anarchist and anarcho-communist) non-sectarian (minus Trots, sorry guys can't please em all) shit posting site. It's not meant to replace the community organizing you should be doing, it's not meant to 'be your friends', though you all are great, it's a place where we can make the joke 'Stalin about to go sicko mode with his big spoon' and people get the references.
