This recent rock struggle session made me laugh because I just imagined like 60-70% of that entire comment section just be feds trying to piss each other off

I'm guessing 5-10%

Also, do you think the mod team is compromised, if yes, who?

I haven't been here long enough to guess who but I'd bet the mod team is compromised

(including the activity where they're trying to gain trust by making good posts)?

Guess I'm safe from accusations then. :che-smile:

Sure, but in the US existing while communist is an egregious offense

I don’t know that anyone is actively monitoring here but I am more certain than not that it’s being datamined so still wouldn’t post any personally identifying information

I love this site but is it that influential to have feds observing it frequently? Even niche subreddits like Trueanon are more likely to have lurking feds.

Feds have infiltrated orgs by the time they get to 5 members

That's a good point. Remember reading an old Intercept article about a fed that infiltrated an anarchist punk group.

Tbh I think they're just lurking, they're not gonna be wasting many resources on niche leftist internet shitposting communities.

they don't need to do anything really. If we ever actually start something we could be instantly taken out with all the stuff we post, they don't need to say or do anything but put it up while we are on the stand. No jury would get behind my three-pronged war on suburbs, cops, and protestantism in this country,

It's true, we talked about it in the breakroom at Ft. Meade this morning.

Everyone that disagrees with me is FBI trying to discourage me from true communism. Everyone that agrees with me is a CIA honeypot operation. I'm actually a sleeper agent for the department of defense, to be activated once one of the other departments let me deeper into their fake operation.

I have been around long enough to know everyone involved in the rock struggle session are unlikely feds. Lets be serious that one hits our modus operandi to hard to be feds.

COINTELPRO docs prioritize infiltrating orgs as soon as they are created to gain trust and positions in the leadership

It's highly likely current Hexbear culture has been purposely crafted so by early feds

pulls up a chair, spins in around and sits down in it backward

Well fellow kid, I'm not sure what to tell you. The makeup of this forum was pretty inevitable after the banning of r/chapotraphouse, and if anything, the forum is even more radical, boring, and academic that it used to be. Not that it was ever going rival r/cth at the height of the Sanders movement, where we terrorized the reddit frontpage with blisteringly politically incoherent memes about progressivism and socialism (but they worked because people shared them), and made people afraid to post there. Funny times.

That being said, this is probably one of the only places in the internet where you will simultaneously get a comprehensive and sympathetic history of Stalin AND then in the same breath that same person will tell you it's not worth fighting about irl. It's a decent compromise and far less clearly fed-jacketed than a place like r/communism where you get banned for minor sectarian issues or even just asking questions about minor sectarian issues. At most around here, you have to deal with the under-developed clique of the c/news mega people v.s. other people in the forum who aren't rabid war-watchers.

Could it perhaps be more 'active and radical', maybe, but that defeats the point of hexbear which is to be a leftist (communist, anarchist and anarcho-communist) non-sectarian (minus Trots, sorry guys can't please em all) shit posting site. It's not meant to replace the community organizing you should be doing, it's not meant to 'be your friends', though you all are great, it's a place where we can make the joke 'Stalin about to go sicko mode with his big spoon' and people get the references.

The fucking rock struggle session is what flipped your iceberg enough to talk about whether there are feds and not the fact that we have had a standing Megathread for a year which we collect and share data about Russian troop movements and rumors from across hard to access foreign language telegram accounts during real life fog of war?

    Lol. Lmao, even

We need that 1984 big brother orders meme

Nah you're too dang Australian. No chance they'd actually let us in on the secret ops. Like that time they convinced us to stop selling China coal over "human rights violations" and then sold off all their coal to China at prices we were pricing them out on previous. :)

We're just the little brother trying desperately to hang out with America and it's friends and act like we're in their "gang".
