I think there's an interesting dynamic going on that people sort of ignore. That JK Rowling is a 'monopolist' in a sense. Capitalists have uncheked power over our culture. If you happen to like the basic premise of Harry Potter, odds are that whatever is being produced falls under JK Rowling's estate. There's no escaping it.
I read HP as a kid like most everybody else in this generation and I never cared much for the characters. I just like cooky magic fantasy like that, especially when it blends with the real world. Over time I came to realize just how dumb JK's world building really is. And I don't even mean the goblin revolution stuff. But the temptation is still there.
So all support to EMPRESS in her fight against the cancer that is denuvo. Some people's computers shouldn't go up in flames.
