I think there's an interesting dynamic going on that people sort of ignore. That JK Rowling is a 'monopolist' in a sense. Capitalists have uncheked power over our culture. If you happen to like the basic premise of Harry Potter, odds are that whatever is being produced falls under JK Rowling's estate. There's no escaping it.
I read HP as a kid like most everybody else in this generation and I never cared much for the characters. I just like cooky magic fantasy like that, especially when it blends with the real world. Over time I came to realize just how dumb JK's world building really is. And I don't even mean the goblin revolution stuff. But the temptation is still there.
So all support to EMPRESS in her fight against the cancer that is denuvo. Some people's computers shouldn't go up in flames.

I love playing modern AAA games, I love uncreative action elements that play the same exact way as every other modern game, I love needless RPG elements that add little to actual gameplay because the game isn't actually based around them in any substantial way, I love bright shiny visuals surrounding a story about how minorities just need to shut up and obey. I'm so excited to play this game. So happy for this new slop and not boring things like Paper Mario or Baba is You or Pentiment or all those other bland games that just try to pretend they're different.

I’m excited to play it the same way I watched the Fantastic Beasts movies - Stolen, and while drinking heavily with my partner and making fun of the trainwreck on our screen.
Mocking especially bad movies and games is so fun for me. Secrets of Dumbledore was so fun to watch because it was possibly the worst movie I’ve ever fucking seen.
