I think you have the causation order wrong here

It's not like Herr Elon forces ordinary people to be stupid

Stupid people like him, buy Tesla vehicles, and predictably do dumb shit.

As his cult of personality has unraveled, or shifted to purely appealing to the worst reactionaries you can find, it basically filtered out any not complete dumbasses who originally may have supported Tesla. Now the remaining supporters are perfectly algorithmically selected for being the most annoying, prone to stupid behavior type of people out there.

Anyway, I need to see a video of some hog driving his brand new off the lot Tesla truck into water that covers the hood. I need to know if the car will explode. For science.

It's the new status symbol for people with fuck you money.

It's also marketed as being "rugged" despite getting stuck in situations a Trabant could manage.

Didn't they had a production of 3800 cybertrunk in total?

Lmao, if they where a living animal they would be considered an endangered specie.

Buying a cyber truck is very strong evidence that you have poor decision-making abilities

The drunken fratbro mode for Full Self Driving doesn't quite work as expected, would've preferred if it went headfirst and would've flipped the vehicle. Hopefully they'll make it more authentic with the next patch!

    Still love the truck tho!

this is a combination of people who like tesla enough to buy a cybertruck being dumbasses combined with people who buy a cybertruck never having owned or driven a truck in their lives so they don't have a realistic expectation of what they're capable of

I say this as someone who got a 4x4 extremely stuck in a position very much like this when I was 18, at about 1AM, with four other guys riding with me. We at least had the sense to be doing this stupid shit within walking distance of a friend's dad's tractor, so it wasn't a serious problem.

edit: oh also this is probably a result of the stupid things not having "lockers" despite it just being a question of a software update

It's basically a self selection bias. The type of person that has both the financial means and want to buy a cyber truck is bound to do stupid shit with it.

Riverbank to the left of the truck looks messed up. Looks to me like the might have been driving along the waters edge, tried to turn left to get out of the area and the rear end followed gravity and swung down, pointing them how they are now.

I think that the type of people who would buy this car come with a level of unseriousness that would raise the likelyhood of doing stuff like this, so there might be a causation there.
