I keep hearing things about this show. Can someone educate me on it?

It's the most streamed show in the world, and for a mass media children's show it's actually very woke and good. The creator who has written every episode so far wants to stop because his kids are getting older and he doesn't have much more to say in the format. Disney, the BBC and various other companies don't want him to stop because they're making billions.

        woke

Woke in a lib way, where Rusty's dad still probably killed a bunch of Afghan Hounds overseas while in the Australian Army.

And it took 3 seasons to mention a queer character.

I mean they were pro gay horse marriage in season 1.

          Show

Lol, but yeah, the Rusty's Dad thing is probably the biggest strike against them. I could totally do without that shit.

I think its mostly parents excited to watch something that isn't Peppa Pig. It's probably better than other kids shows but I dunno why you'd watch it unless you have kids

I think Peppa Pig being absolute hollow fluff was part of the motivation for bluey

I'm an uncle so I'm not totally without kids, but it's reasonably wholesome and amusing. Animated eye bleach basically. Like if you're having a rough day I would totally recommend getting high and just relaxing with Bluey on auto play. Some of the episodes are downright emotionally cleansing.
