I'm American but I'd like to know about states and federal trials because probably some of what I assume is wrong or dead wrong.

I think court should take place in a building built in the center of what used to be some dumbass mega stadium, build it out of glass and connect it to the prison/ wherever with secret underground train. Build the coutroom out of transparent material, then sell tickets to sit in the stadium and broadcast the courtroom on the jumbotron
It should have MMA-like commentary too.
"OH MY GOODNESS! This exhibit by the defense is gonna be like a scissor kick to the face of the prosecution! KO comin' up?!?"
"I don't know, Joe. I think the prosecution's gonna block it and respond with a knock down followed by some serious ground 'n pound."
