That they're boomer brained on certain issues but still have insightful things to say on others, like Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais, etc. But I never see anyone doing that. It seems Burr is so charismatic that he could straight up shoot someone and lose zero fans lol.
I get what you're saying but it's not just about fandom for me it's about usefulness. I am much more willing to give people a pass on boomer brain when they're actually promoting the same economic goals.
And describing it as a pass is probably wrong too. It's not a pass. I don't give Frankie Boyle a pass for campaigning against Corbyn after he got wrapped up in believing the antisemitism and IRA shit. But I still like a bunch of what he does, and I still see him as quite useful.
