It's easy, just do what I did: buy in Spring 2007. Then you'll have unaffordable payments AND be underwater on it forever!

My rent has luckily not changed since 2020. If I wanted to move without downgrading from my 1 bedroom basement suite, I’d probably be paying over 2k month
