I did some construction inspection work on Ft. Detrick and when my boss was giving me instructions for the project he told me "don't touch the soil without gloves on." They carted out probably like 7,500 cubic yrds of soil and replaced it with offsite fill. The whole area around the base is a giant cancer cluster.
