    despite his historical reputation as an aggressive firebrand, Stalin was actually pretty normal and jovial in person apparently. He was also usually conciliatory with the supreme soviet and pragmatic with diplomacy. He was one of the more normal of the original bolsheviks.

    Lenin was much more proactive in comparison

      stalin was quite charismatic iirc. he was said to be quick with an audience-appropriate joke no matter whether he was speaking to children or sailors
