I pay like $3000 to take a chemistry class. It has 250~ students. Any engagement I could have with the subject is limited by not wanting to be the asshole who holds up a village worth of people. Instead of adequately funding teaching staff and making smaller class sizes, they built a football stadium that they demolished a research lab for. That research field is the reason for the university's existence while its football team is terrible.
The main thing I've learned is that I hate American universities.
